Three children sustained injuries after a vehicle crashed through the door of a church last Monday.

The wreck occurred at North Philly at about around 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon. An 83 years-old female driver inadvertently stepped on the gas and careened all the way to the glass doors the Church of Deliverance located at N 21st Street and Lehigh Avenue.

Three young people sustained minor injuries and were delivered to the Hospital of St. Christopher. One victim was a 5-year-old girl who had an injured foot; another 4-year-old girl sustained cuts on her face and another 5-year-old girl was knocked to the ground during the incident.

The 83-year-old driver was also delivered to Temple University Hospital but her condition remained unknown.
