There is probably no public road in Philadelphia that has not been the scene of a vehicular accident. A multi accident along the Interstate 78 of Upper Saucon TWP. caused the death of one person and probable damage of several vehicles.
Police reported that the scene of the mishap was near mile 61 marker of the eastbound lanes of I-78. The accident resulted to one fatalities, as well as the injury of several others.
As investigation is still ongoing, authorities did not release identities and other information of those involved in the crash.
To prevent traffic congestion, I-78 was closed at the PAS Route 309 exit for several hours but it was reopened at 11:00 o’clock in the morning.
