At least one police officer sustained injuries after a mishap in Bucks County last Thursday. The crash occurred at the intersection of Rt. 309 and Lawn Avenue at 7:30 o’clock in the evening.

Two Pennridge police officers were helping a vehicle that was disabled when a white car, for unknown reasons, struck the police cruiser which pushed the second cruiser. In the process, one of the officers was propelled towards the guard rail.

The stricken officer, with minor injuries at the knee and back, was immediately delivered to the Hospital of Grand View.  The second officer was not hurt.

The white vehicle that struck the cruisers had three other people inside who suffered injuries. They were also transported to the local hospital for treatment.

No other information was released regarding the incident as investigation is been conducted.
