West Philadelphia – Pa. police had to stop a vehicle pertaining to an investigation of homicide.

Tuesday morning, they were pursuing a black Mercedes starting from the Spruce and from the 55th streets and ending on Block 4600 at Brown Street in West Philadelphia.

The cause of the pursuit was a problem of homicide that happened on Block 500 at S. Yewdell Street that morning.

Earlier that morning, there was a report of trouble at Yewdell Street where a man was running after a woman on the street with a gun on his hand.

Fishtown – Police reported of a crash that closed down some lanes the northbound Interstate 95 in Philadelphia last Monday involving a city street sweeper.

The mishap took place just before 5:00 o’clock in the morning in a section at Fishtown.

The crashed happened when a street sweeper collided with a disabled vehicle that closed three lanes of the morning commuter’s traffic.

At least three people were transported to University Hospital of with unknown injuries.

More information will be given out after the crash is investigated.

North Philadelphia – A crash which happened in the area sent three women with injuries to the local hospitals.

At around 6:25 o’clock in Sunday morning, a mishap happened at the corner of Glenwood and Germantown Avenues.

Three vehicles were trapped inside the vehicles. After they were extricated from the wreckage, they were transported to local hospitals.

A 37-year- old victim was delivered to the University hospital of Hahnemann, while the two others, an 18-year-old and a 26-year-old were brought to the Temple University Hospital.

No news are given regarding their identities and present condition in the hospital.

West Mount Airy – A SEPTA bus was pushed towards the sidewalk as a result of a crash between two vehicles last Friday morning at the West Mount Airy section of Pa.

It was at 7:15 o’clock in the morning when the accident happened in the vicinity of Cherokee Street and W Mt. Pleasant Avenue.

Two vehicles slammed with each other when one of the vehicles struck a SEPTA bus sending the bus to the sidewalk. No injuries were reported from the collision of the SEPTA HXH bus.

Medics responded into the scene but no person was transported to the Medical Center of Einstein. It was not stated which types of vehicles were involved and the persons in the scene.

North Philadelphia – Authorities cited that a hit-and-run driver fled from the scene after his vehicle struck heads-on with another car and injuring two people early that morning.

The crash occurred a little after midnight at Block 2700 at North 16th Street.

Police said that they halted a vehicle which was going the other way on a one way street when the driver abruptly sped off. In the process of fleeing, the driver crashed heads-on with another car while injuring two people inside.

The driver got off the vehicle and ran away from the scene on foot.

Two injured victims were a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman who was both delivered to the hospital sustaining minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the police are conducting a search for the man who fled from the scene.

The mishap happened just after midnight at North 16 Street.
